Carina Schey is an award-winning speaker whose passion is to help others discover their voices, thereby empowering them to share their messages.

She is a consultant health economist based in Switzerland. Her area of speciality is to develop unique methods to demonstrate the value of new treatments for rare diseases.

Carina has designed and implemented patient-focused services on behalf of several healthcare systems to patients with rare diseases. Carina has published many peer-reviewed articles. Notable professional speaking engagements include the European Parliament, Patients’ Rights Day, The World Alpha-1 Conference and other professional conferences.

Carina sits on the expert panels for rare diseases and on the scientific advisory panels for several charities, and as non-executive director for healthcare organisations.
